The Directors Cut Vs. Drive

This week Dan struggles to stay awake through a midnight screening of Drive. Starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston and Albert Brooks. At the Cannes Film Festival Drive was nominated for the Palm D’Or and won Best Director for Nicolas Winding Refn. This movie takes an intentionally slow and artistic look at the worlds of stunt car driving and getaway driving. Interesting flick though, Refn feels like he was stealing the ultra violence styling of Cronenberg. During this program we count down the top ten movies about stunt drivers.
