The Directors Cut vs. 50/50

Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt star in the cancer comedy 50/50. Yes, I know that’s insensitive to say, but that’s how the studios would like us to bill it. Unfortunately this movie isn’t the barrel of laughs the trailer leads you to believe. Yes there is cancer, yes there is comedy. But, there is something about the human struggle of “what the hell am I gonna do now?” Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Adam, the guy with cancer. The movie is from his perspective and shows what it feels and looks like when you have to go down the path of dealing with death, dealing with friends and dying with loved ones. This show we talk about the top ten movies with Diseases, and we’ll let you know whether you should see this in Theaters, Wait til DVD, or just forget about it.
